How Credits Work

Load credits into your RECON Files account that pay for SEO Dashboard reports.  This keeps your monthly billing steady even when your domain’s keyword list size varies from month to month.

 

To budget your credit needs per month, enter your domains into the credit calculator you can find just to the left of the price chart.

 

Mmhmm, and what do I tell my boss?

Opening with $89 a month, you get enough credits to power 4-5 “small” domain reports or 1-2 “medium” sized domain reports.  Just for purposes of an example, a small domain might have about 500 keywords or fewer, and a medium domain would be closer to 2,000 to 5,000 keywords.

Stretch your money with Annual Plans

Just like with a SpyFu subcription, you get more for your money when you can select an annual plan.  Pay once per year, but get your credits monthly.  For example, a $199 monthly plan offers you 1000 credits per month. The same credits delivered monthly with an annual plan costs $1295.

We’ll take one more thing off your “to-do” list every month. Since your credit package renews monthly, you can find updated reports in your inbox without having to give it a second thought. Activate the “update monthly” checkbox when you build your report in the wizard, and we’ll get to work on those for you as soon as new data comes available.

How will I know how many credits I need?

When you create a RECON Files report, we’ll tell you on the page exactly how many credits cover that domain. Larger domains call for higher credits. We base a domain’s size on its number of keywords ranking within top 50 organic results.

As keyword list size adjusts, so do credits. A modest project you just picked up could ask for 190 credits at first and nudge up to 230 credits the next month with the gains you made in new rankings.

It’s fine to start small, but the savings grow as you reach new levels. Consider graduating to a new account plan as you expand your keyword reach.

 

Does white labeling increase the number of credits required for my report?

No, white labeled SEO reports have always been the backbone idea that created RECON Files. This feature is included--for no additional charge--on all Recon Files reports purchased within the pro level packages (above).

And if I want just one small report?

A SpyFu subscription gives you 200 credits each month for as little as $79 a month or $499 if you purchase the full year up front.  But keep in mind that RECON Files support your long-term plans with an immediate product. You just might need to run a report for them again showing off all the value you created the first month.

What happens to unused credits?

Even if you don’t have many clients now, you can use the leftover credits to reach out to new business or allow the credits to roll over into the next month. The credits expire 60 days after purchase.

 

 

Are there contracts to sign? First-borns to promise?

Keeping with SpyFu practice, RECON Files credit purchases are protected by a 30 day money back guarantee. If you find that the RECON Files program isn’t right for you, let us know within the first month, and we’ll return your money.

Past the first 30 days, unused credits are non-refundable. You can cancel your package plan at any time with no minimum times or contracts. (But rollover credits may not be accessible after cancellation.)
